  17. Take 1.5 litres Water

  19. Get 1 tsp Pre - made Chowmien Spice (optional)
Instructions to make Chinese Chowmein, with chicken, eggs & veggies:
  1. Chop the chicken breast into 1 inch pieces.
  2. Put the chicken in a bowl. Add 1 tbsp of soya sauce, 1/2 tbsp Chinese Five Spice Powder, and cornflour. Mix well. Keep aside for 15 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, cup the beans into 1 inch pieces. Cut the carrot and green bell pepper into thin strips.
  4. Finely chop the onion, and crush the garlic cloves.
  5. Put the water on boil. Add the chowmein, and let it cook.
  6. In a wok, add 2 tbsp of oil. Then lightly sauté the onion and garlic.
  7. Next, add in the chicken, and sauté on high heat for 2 minutes.
  8. Add the three vegetables. On medium high heat, sauté then for about 1-2 mins.
  9. Carefully, make a hole in the middle of the wok. Use your ladle/spatula to move the chicken and begins to the side.
  10. Crack the eggs into the hole, add a pinch of salt, and then scrabble. Mix every together.
  11. Meanwhile, check to see if your chowmein is done. If yes, then drain it.
  12. Add the chowmein into the wok. Toss and turn everything! Add more oils if required.
  13. Add in 1/4 tsp of the Chinese Five Spice Powder. Also add in 1-2 tbsp of soya sauce. Mix well, but gently.
  14. Finally pour in the cooking wine. Add the sugar.
  15. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot!

  17. Optional step 2: Add in the Pre-made Chowmien Spice. Mix. Keep on heat for a minute, and then serve.
