- Take 1 cup maida/ all purpose flour
- Get 1/2 tsp salt
- Prepare As needed Oil for deep frying
- Take 2 tsp oil
- Prepare as needed Water for mixing
Steps to make Szechwan Wontons:
- For the filling, add oil in a pan lightly fry the onions, add carrots and fry for 1 min, then add capsicum and cabbage and lastly add all the sauces and seasonings. Remove on plate and mix coriander leaves.
- For the szechwan sauce, add oil in a pan add garlic, cook for few secs, add onions and saute them. Add the tomato puree, cook till oil separates, then add sauces and seasonings. Add capsicum, stir for 1 min, remove from gas.
- For the dough, add flour in a parant, put oil and salt to it. With water make the dough:should not be sticky or hard. Roll in plastic bag and keep in fridge for 10-15mins.
- Divide the dough into two equal parts and roll it. With min flour with the rolling pin into a thin chapati.
- Make squares with the help of pizza cutter. To each square add 1tsp filling in the center. Fold it to make a triangle. Press all around the filling.
- Arrange them on tray and keep them under fan for 15mins or refrigerate also.
- Deep fry them. Serve with szechwan sauce.
