- First all the dry spices put into the grinder and make a powder foam set aside. - - Soak wheat, split chickpeas, split green gram, split red lentil, rice, white lentil, barely 4-5 hours or overnight. - - In a large pan add all these and water and 1/2 tsp turmeric. - Add 2 glass of water or as required, cover the lid and cook until beef fully gets tender. Mash it well with potato masher. - - Add cooked beef in lentil mixture and stir continuously for 1hr or 40-50 minutes.
- #Tarka: - - in a non-stick pan heat oil and then add onion, fry until golden brown. Take out the fried onion in paper towel and keep it aside. Pour oil on haleem mixture and cook for 15-20 minutes. - Serve with fried onion, ginger slices, green fresh coriander and chaat masala.
