The ingredients needed to make Mutton Porial:
  1. Take 250 grams Mutton Pieces (Boneless)
  2. Get 1 Big Onion Chopped
  3. Take 1 tsp cumin seeds
  4. Take As required Grated coconut
  5. Get 6-8 Dry Red Chillies
  6. Take 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  7. Get 2 tbsp sesame oil
  8. Make ready to taste Salt
Steps to make Mutton Porial:
  1. Heat oil in a pan and add in the cumin seeds, chopped onions, dry red chillies and ginger garlic paste. Saute well till the onions changes colour.
  2. Then add the washed Mutton Pieces. Add enough salt and mix well with the onions.
  3. Keep the flame low. Cover and cook till the mutton pieces are cooked soft. Mutton has to cook in it's own juice. Stir inbetween to avoid the mutton stick to the bottom. If necessary sprinkle some water.
  4. Once the mutton pieces are cooked soft, check for Salt and spice. (If you feel the spice is not enough ads some red chilli powder) finally add the grated coconut and mix well for a minute and turn off the stove.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl. Mutton porial is ready to serve.
