- Get 5 lovang cloves
- Make ready 2 black cardamom
- Take 5 green cardamom
- Make ready 2 star anaise
- Make ready 3 bay leaves
- Take 2 cinnamon stick
- Prepare 1 mace
- Prepare 1/2 cup fresh yoghurt
- Make ready 2 cups water (normal use cup)
- Make ready 1/2 cup oil
Instructions to make Mutton Yakhni Polao:
- In a karahi take oil. Add shahi zeera, black cardamom, cinnamon stick, bay leaves, lovang cloves, green Cardamom, star anaise, mace, black pepper corn and fry for few seconds.
- Now add onion and cook till it's color change to golden brown. Flame should be medium high in this stage.
- Now add Mutton and fru for 3 minutes. Then add water and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add ginger garlic paste and fry for 2-3 minutes. Add salt and yoghurt and fry Mutton till oil separated.
- Now add chopped green chillies and chopped fresh coriander leaves, tomatoes and mix well.
- Now crushed cumin seeds, coriander seeds, fennel seeds and add it to Mutton. And cook on medium to high flame for 3 minutes.
- Pour whole mixture to pressure cooker. Add 2 cup (normal use cup or tea cup) of water and cook for 20 minutes.
- Now add rice and mix it. Cover and cook for 10 minutes in pressure cooker. Open the lid and cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes without covering.
- Now delicious Mutton polao is ready to serve π.
