- Make ready As required Sev, finely chopped onions, masala peanuts, tamarind chutney, garlic chutney, coriander leaves, desiccated coconut and pomegranate
Instructions to make Spicy Kutchi Dabeli:
- In a pan dry roast all the dry whole spices. Let it cool down a bit and then grind into a fine powder. Tip: Add little salt while grinding so that it absorbs the moisture in the masala and you get a fine powder.
- Now in a pan, heat up some oil. Once hot add boiled and smashed potatoes, and the prepared spice mix. You can add the spice mix as the taste you like. Add salt if needed. And add 2 tbsp tamarind chutney. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture on a plate and spread it so that it cool down.
- Add spicy masala peanuts, pomegranates, onions, coconut and coriander leaves.
- Take a bun, make a slit. Apply tamarind chutney and garlic chutney. Fill it with prepared potato mixture. Roll it in sev.
